The Mind, The Heart, and The Conscience! Anatomy of Deviant Beings is Joven Ela’s second novel, written in 2023 and published in the winter of 2024. In it, again using a simple and direct style, the author develops the plot of a fictional crime, but surely not at all impossible in real life, and builds a story dotted with intrigue, infidelity, bipolarity, envy, insecurity, unhappiness and frustration, where sex as the main ingredient is lived beyond the limit socially understood and accepted as normal, involving its characters in a spiral of chaos, deception, and self-destruction that without surprise leads to tragedy.
From the prologue of the book, the following paragraph highlights that the novel is only for adults over 18 years of age:
“Beware, however, the referred events ….. are at times narrated in such a crude and graphic detail, some would even say pornographic, that perhaps this story should not be recommended for any prudish or morally drowned minds out there.”

With the sole purpose of building the story narrated in the novel, the last paragraph of the book mentions the song Bust Your Knee Caps (Johnny Don’t Leave Me) by Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn, the husband-and-wife duo Pomplamoose, and motivated by his desire to express his admiration and gratitude for the art and talent of all the artists who participated in making the song come true, Joven Ela invites you to check the video of the song currently (December 2024) available on the internet:
